On my sons freshman year at Jim Elliot Christian High School in 2015, they went to the all school camp, and Donnie was there to lead the chapels. My son likes youth groups, but was not a fan of sitting in a chapel service. When he got home, I asked about his trip. His response shocked me and touched my heart: He said the chapels were 2-3 hours long and very intense. So intense, that the time flew by and he didn’t realize how long they were until they were over and he saw the time. I’m so thankful that my son had amazing chapel experiences and I only have Donnie to thank. I am so very sorry for your loss.
