My granddaughter Mariah went to camp 2017. And one night Donnie was praying one of the nights for the kids to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Mariah said she ran straight to Donnie through the crowd and asked him to pray over her, although there was hundreds of kids there Donnie hugged her and personally prayed over her and immediately she begin speaking in the spirit! She couldn’t  stop talking about it she was such in awe about how God used Donnie! She had a life changing experience that will have a positive impact on her forever.  He will be missed tremendously!!

We love you….

I met Donnie Moore thru Darwin Benjamin!  I also met Jeff Foust, the youth pastor shortly after and started to attend Rad Night at Lakeview Assembly!    I went for some two years before I met Jesus in 1989 at the Assembly of God Nor Cal Youth Convention in San Jose, CA.  I remember the message Donnie preached that night was entitled, No Halfway House!  He gave an altar and said if you are right with God turn around and if not stand facing him so he could talk with us about how much Jesus loved us and did for us and to surrender and stop living a double life and live for God.  I turned around and did a complete circle because I was living in the half way house with God.  That night I met Jesus and experienced His love personally for the first time and I have never been that same since that fall night in November of 1989.  I also go baptized in the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues that same night without anyone laying hands on me!  I met Father God that night and God used Donnie Moore big time that evening!  This November will mark 29 years walking with Jesus and Thank God for Donnie Moore walking in the calling God give this great Evangelist and Anointed Man of God!  See you in glory one day!  Prayers for his family!

I was a student at Evangel Christian Academy, and Donnie Moore came every year to do our school’s spiritual revival. His message centered around love and the father heart of God were just what I needed to really give my heart to the Lord, and I’ll never forget when he laid his hands on me to receive the Holy Spirit! Life changing! I mean really, this man was able to get our whole school rallying, jumping and running in celebration of the love of God! The presence of God was so thick around this man, kids were just drawn to him, haha. I saw so many of my peers who felt hopeless restored because of God’s work through Donnie Moore. I can’t say it enough, but the love of God was all over that man!

In 1996 I was newly saved & knew nothing about the Holy Spirit. My friend Shekina persuaded me to go a camp to see this great speaker named Donnie Moore because she knew it would change my life. We found out a church called ALF was going to Donnie’s camp the next day & we joined them, not knowing anyone else.
Without knowing much about speaking in tongues I made the decision to be prayed over on a Wednesday night. I was completely out in the Spirit for hours without any clue what had transpired.

Over the years I volunteered as a counselor, a super mean dean of women, a Program Staff Director, and now camp director with my husband. I felt it an honor, that even as a single young woman Donnie & Cindy believed in me & my giftings.

It’s been my honor to both serve at camp & become friends with Donnie, Cindy , Brooke, Anna & my husbands kindred spirit, DJ.

I have had many God moments over the last 21 while listening to Donnie Speak. I have also laughed a ton in his presence.

While living in Ensenada as a missionary at the Lords Gym I got to translate for different members of Radical Reality during a crusade. I can recall Donnie focusing all his love upon a huge orphan teenage boy named Felix. I can remember how he mentored him & doted upon this giant orphan boy, lavishing him with God’s pure love. A boy who everyone had abandoned , ignored & frankly was scared of was shown Gods ABBA Father unconditional love through your caring compassionate dad/husband/son. It has stuck with me these 18 years.

I’ve seen Donnie cradle broken & abused girls , pray for orphans, & give hope to the hurting for the last 21 years.

There is a bit of Donnie in all three of his children. Brooke’s heart for her family, the Glass Slippers Girls & her friends reminds me of Donnie’s compassion & love. Anna’s passioniate nature & zeal for life reminds me of Donnie infectious energy that captivated his audience. And DJ, Donnies thinner spitting image, is hilarious & such a showman, reminding me of his fathers uncanny ability to tell a story and make people laugh.

Cindy you have been such a great role model for me as a wife, mother & minister. You were such a great balance for Donnie. I’ve always loved seeing your love for each other & your children.

Mrs Moore, you raised a great man. He spoke of you & your husband with incredible love & fondness.

I am sorry if I went too long. I wanted you all to know our great love & respect for Donnie & your family.

If you would like to laugh please have Joey tell you the story of the hand motion in Mexico that did not mean the same thing there as it does here. Donnie & Joey had lots of laughs about that incident. If he doesn’t remember I’ll tell you someday.

With love,

when I was in 7th grade, my youth Pastor convinced us to go to Chico to a summer camp. It was the theme “Champions” that year.. Not only did I encounter the love of God like never before, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Although I had felt called to ministry since I was a young child, I can not deny the further assurance I felt because of Radical Reality camp. Donnie has prayed over me, spoke into my life, and has been someone I look up to since 2006. After nearly 10 years of camps both as a student and a leader- I can honestly say my life was forever changed. As a youth pastor, I often reflect on my time from these camps. I am forever grateful because of he love of God Donnie showed to me, my siblings, and my youth kids. One of the biggest take always I have from Donnie Moore is the way he knew how to do true ministry of the Gospel, and that was the way he knew how to love people. My personal walk with God has always grown from each and every single message he gave. And I cannot begin to express he lasting impact he had in demonstrating how to be a leader to others by simply following God with everything he had.

My first memory of Donnie was when he and the Radical Reality team came to Green Valley when I was like 6. He had done an alter call and around that time my mom developed epilepsy. I remember standing by my dad, watching him pray over people, laying hands in his way, and I didn’t know about being slain in the Spirit and didn’t register that other people were being laid out.  I saw him lay hands on my mom and she was slain, I freaked because I thought he caused my mom to have a seizure. Later my parents talked to me about it and now it’s one of my fond memories which we still laugh about. I have been going to RR Camp since 2002, been a camper, counselor, and on program team. One of my favorite things about Donnie beyond his huge heart was his sense of humor. I was on the team that started ‘Donnie Freaking Moore’ and I’ve always loved how he received it and how he joined in in celebrating and dancing with the students. It was at camp that I received my spiritual tongues, my calling, and built many many friendships not to mention felt the movement of the Holy Spirit, witnessed miracles, and experienced God’s love on a very real level. Donnie’s heart for young people and perseverance has left an enormous impact on my life. I don’t know where I’d be without his influence in my life. Last year at camp, he sat with me and encouraged me through the hard year I was going through. He has been like a father figure in my life and I’m so grateful for his life.

To friends and family:

Donnie. My life was changed at your altars. What you believed in, preached, and taught was unlike anything I had ever heard.
You were at the foundation (aside from Jesus) for my walk and fire for Christ. I just can’t fathom not raising my kids in your camps that saved me.
I’ll never forget being a teenager and you calling me out at an altar saying “God has healed you of your depression, you don’t need to take medication for the rest of your life.” Ten years later I haven’t taken them.
I love you Donnie freakin Moore. I remember you teaching on the Holy Spirit, I was fifteen years old and literally sitting on the edge of my seat with my leg shaking with anxiousness because I wanted what this power was that you spoke of. I couldn’t believe there was such a thing that would link my heart directly to God. I couldn’t believe we had access to it!!! You didn’t even finish the invitation to come down to the altar and I was running up there. I forgave my dad. Forgave my bullies. Forgave my family, everyone. I’ll never forget when your giant hands (that were bigger than my head) prayed for me to be filled with the Holy Spirit and next thing I knew I was on the ground for the next three hours praying in other tongues. The love, joy, peace, and freedom that came over me is what changed my life. I got up from that altar a different person. I went out and brought 20 kids to youth every single week because you believed in me. I brought my best friends back to camp the next year and they got saved. I sent my niece when she was the same age as I was when my life was first changed. I made lifelong friendships that have carried me through my darkest days at YOUR camps. You possessed the love of the father unlike any other to so many people. Donnie; the impact you had on my life is nothing compared to the thousands of others who knew you, but it’s everything to me. I’ll miss you so much.

To friends and family:
A message for My deepest condolences to each and every one of you, if there is anything I can do please let me know.
